In 1994 the Constitution of Taiwan was amended to make August 1st Indigenous People's Day in recognition of the indigenous people of Taiwan. There are over 25 different indigenous groups in Taiwan, only 14 of which have been officially recognized by the government."

25 olika ursprungsfolk! Något att titta närmare på. Inte lite med folk med tanke på att Taiwan inte ör så himla stort på kartan.
